LIBRARY READER REGISTRATION DESK

The Library Registration Section is a unit in the Novosibirsk State University Library Support Services Department.

Library Registration staff introduce future users to the rules for using the library, its structure, location of departments, and working hours. This is where readers register for the library and extend their library cards, the document that authorizes an individual’s use of the NSU Library. The Library Registration Section also issues passwords for digital orders and access to the digital catalog through their library cards.

The following documents are required to register at the Library:

• full-time faculty and staff, NSU ID;

• Adjunct teacher ID and guarantee from their primary place of work with a stamp from the NSU Personnel Department;

• NSU graduate student ID;

• SB RAS post-graduate student certificate and guarantee from the corresponding institute;

• students at NSU Institute for Retraining and Increasing Qualifications an ID and letter from NSU IRIQ;

• A record of students in all courses is based on data from the University information system that is updated daily in the “Users” NSU Library Data Base.
