REFERENCE AND INFORMATION SERVICE DEPARTMENT

The department’s task is to provide users of the Scientific Library with the necessary bibliographic information and information on the operation of electronic resources. The Information-Bibliographic Department staff provides access to a collection of encyclopedias, dictionaries, indexes, and dissertations — a total of approximately 15,000 titles. Information literacy training sessions are conducted in response to faculty requests. Long-term work has been underway to catalog the work of full-time faculty members, and work is ongoing on indexing NSU media publications.
