Scientific and Educational School “Current State of the Scientific Information Sphere”

Events for the "Current State of the Scientific Information Sphere" research and educational school have begun at the Novosibirsk State Technical University library, organized by the scientometric consulting firm "Pulse of Science". Tatyana Markova, head of our library, and Natalya Koval, head of the information and bibliographic department, took part in the School’s activities.
Experts and listeners discussed:
─ the role of libraries in preserving digital scientific heritage;
─ the ethics of using AI in research;
─ the future of scientific journals;
─ the integration of library services;
─ tools for assessing research activity.
For a university library, these topics are not some abstract future, and the daily agenda: how to support researchers, which services to develop and how to structure work with scientific information in the new environment.
Thank you to the organizers, experts, and colleagues for an insightful discussion and for sharing your experience!
