Marking the 130th Anniversary of the Birth of Writer Evgeny Schwartz

This year is rich in significant anniversaries in the literary world, and one of them is the 130th anniversary of the birth of the humanist writer Yevgeny Schwartz.

He gave us such poignant, wise fairy tales as "An Ordinary Miracle", "Two Maples", and "The Dragon". He also masterfully reimagined the well-known stories of Cinderella, The Snow Queen, and Little Red Riding Hood. Yevgeny Lvovich’s profound, philosophical works leave a lasting impression, and many phrases from them have become widely quoted.
