Self-service terminals in the library

Did you know that books with RFID tags can be returned using the library's self-service terminals? This is very convenient: ✅ can be returned during librarians' absence — terminal in available in the creative student space from 7:00 to 23:00; ✅ you don't need to show your campus card — you can hand it in for a friend; ✅ you can place a stack of textbooks on the station all at once; the main thing is to check them, whether the exact number of books returned was actually checked off — sometimes, when tags overlap the system cannot read them if they are on top of one another; instead, stack the books right away without aligning them perfectly. After returning the books, you can check the status in your personal account at the terminal, if there is an outstanding balance, the information can be printed on the receipt, view on screen or send to your email address. |
