Meeting “Old and new traditions of education: the view of a modern scientist”
Issues of raising children will be relevant at any time. In traditional Russian culture there was a special attitude towards children. Great love, nurturing children, clothing, care, genres of maternal folklore, word, sound — what will be discussed at the meeting with the ethnographer, practical child psychologist Irina Yuryevna Aksenova. It will be held in our library on November 28, starting at 16-00.
Listeners will see the “wrong side” of and the functional side in ordinary and sometimes unsightly forms of “elder-child” interaction. in Russian traditional culture.
A comparative analysis of modern forms and means of education with traditional ones will allow us to draw parallels and see differences, to give our own assessment of the traditions of raising children yesterday and today. And, of course, at the meeting we will sing together with Irina Yuryevna. We invite everyone who is interested! The meeting is timed to coincide with Mother's Day.
