Russia's next-generation discovery service

Novosibirsk State University has been granted test access to the next-generation Russian discovery service Neopoisk since from November 5, 2025 to January 20, 2026.

Neopoisk – A new generation Russian discovery service that provides intelligent search of foreign and domestic electronic information resources in a single search window.

In test access mode, searches are carried out on the resources of the National Subscription of the Russian Research Center and the subscription platforms of NSU: Urait, Znanium, Lan, University Library online, IPRbooks.

 

Opportunities for researchers:

✅ convenient access to full texts of Russian and foreign subscription resources;

✅ smart search technology (semantic, exploratory, cross-lingual, and more), allowing you to find the information you need in a minimum number of clicks;

✅ flexible options for filtering and narrowing search queries;

✅ subject classification of content according to the State Register of Scientific and Technical Information, UDC, and nomenclature ВАК, OECD, LCC;

✅ keyword cloud for each document;

✅ "search similar" function, including search by uploaded document;

✅ creation of personalized collections with the ability to compare them;

✅ saving search queries;

✅ indication of publications based on their inclusion in scientometric databases and the presence of peer review;

✅ visualized analytical block: cumulative mass of documents by year, S-curve, distribution of search results by authors, collections, journals, patent holders, dissertation defense sites, etc.

You can search from NSU IP addresses (via Wi-Fi) without registration.

To obtain remote access, preliminary registration is required from IP addresses (via WI-FI) of NSU.

To add personalized search capabilities, please register.
