Forum "University Library: One Step Ahead"

Last week, the All-Russian Forum "University Library: One Step Ahead" was held in Tomsk.The head of the NSU Scientific Library, Tatyana Markova, and the head of the information and bibliographic department, Natalia Koval, took part in the event. This was a unique opportunity to gain new experience, as the event took place across three venues: the Scientific and Technical Library of Tomsk Polytechnic University, the Scientific and Medical Library of the Siberian State Medical University, and the Scientific Library of Tomsk State University. 248 professionals from 45 cities from Arkhangelsk to Vladivostok gathered in Tomsk, and another 150 people joined online.

Participants not only exchanged experiences, but also developed ideas and relevant approaches for library development strategies, forecasting the needs of the university and users, developing effective services, professional development, and helping university libraries take on new roles in achieving national technological leadership.
