NSU Library - a place for scientific, educational and business events

By the end of last year, the NSU Scientific Library had become an active place for various meetings. Among them are the “philosophical environments”, so beloved by employees and guests, which were held jointly with the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the SB RAS. The NSU Employees' Trade Union held creative workshops for its members, their children and grandchildren. And back in December, the library hosted two events in the small reading room, which we will now tell you about.

December 4, 2024, the V anniversary regional Forum of local self-government took place. More than a thousand participants from all over the region – heads of districts, rural settlements, deputies, activists and representatives of public organizations, together with experts, identified key tasks for municipalities for the coming years, heard reports on best practices in landscaping, infrastructure development, and cooperation with the population. In the small reading room of the NSU Scientific Library there is an expert platform on the topic “Implementation of state national policy.” The meeting was moderated by Deputy Minister of Regional Policy of the Novosibirsk Region Igor Aleksandrovich Atyakshev. The participants discussed issues of interethnic contradictions in the context of the international policy of the Russian Federation, analyzed interethnic and interfaith relations in the region, and proposed effective algorithms for preventing and eliminating ethno-religious conflicts.

On December 14, 2024, NSU graduates met there. Members of the Student Scientific Club "Pulse of the Future" from Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Zheleznogorsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky held an interdisciplinary round table “Issues of human psychophysical adaptation to a changing environment.” The discussion touched upon medical, biophysical, cosmophysical and other aspects of adaptation.
