Impressions of the last poetic meeting “Consonance of Cultures”

Hot on our heels, we are in a hurry to share with you our impressions of the past poetic “Consonance”.

April 23 there were wonderful poems in the library! In Russian, Chinese, French, Bengali, Urdu, English, German and Karakalpak. Works of famous poets and very soulful author's lines.

Students, alumni and even university staff responded with great enthusiasm to the opportunity to participate in a poetry meeting as part of the Interweek. And having overcome the initial embarrassment, all the readers and guests plunged into an almost magical atmosphere - distant mountains and rivers, selfless heroes, gentle maidens, wise grandmothers and complex philosophical questions without answers.

We hope that such live meetings will become traditional! The library doors are open to you and your creative ideas.
