Corporate Library Systems: Technology and Innovation
On June 20-23, 2022, the 20th Anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference ARBICON was held at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and in Vyborg.
The Scientific Library of NSU, being an individual member of ARBICON (Non-Commercial Partnership "Associated Regional Library Consortiums"), has been fruitfully cooperating with this largest interdepartmental interregional library network of the country for 20 years. At present, ARBICON has a powerful aggregate information resource and modern library and information services.
Lyudmila Anatolyevna Lyagushina, director of the NSU Scientific Library, at the personal invitation of the ORGANIZING COMMITTEE, again took an active, active part in the work of the conference. She was the leading moderator of such an interesting, topical discussion platform as "Repositories and Digital Libraries: Theory and Practice".
376 specialists took part in the Anniversary Conference for four days of work, full-time – 176 people. The corps of directors was represented by 96 participants.
The conference was attended by 152 organizations from 50 cities and 30 regions. 11 foreign participants represented 4 countries.
11 panel discussions, expert platforms, round tables and presentations were held. 40 reports on priority areas of the conference were announced. The meetings were broadcast in real time. A feed of CorFor-2022 events was kept on social networks and in Telegram-channel.
Turning to the history of this distinguished forum, note, that for the NSU Scientific Library, the annual participation in its intensive work has long been a highlight of professional life. This season has been a successful confirmation of this. A whole cascade of side events awaited the participants again.
The form of discussions or, as they say now – format – created optimal conditions for a meaningful discussion of the most acute, urgent professional problems.
XX International Scientific and Practical Conference was very, very successful – bright, dynamic, efficient.
