This is a webinar for SAGE Research Methods Cases: Medicine & Health, designed to give you a quick and simple introduction to this new module in the SAGE Research Methods collection. SAGE Research Methods Cases: Medicine & Health contains over 500 cases written by researchers in the field and place an emphasis on the experiences and decision-making in designing and conducting a specific study. They provide users with generalisable lessons from the use of chosen methods and a more realistic picture of research than what is often found in textbooks. Each case includes learning objectives, multiple-choice questions, and discussion questions, making them perfect for coursework. In July 2021, SAGE will launch SAGE Research Methods Video: Medicine & Health to complete the 2-module suite of medical research resources.
We will start off with an introduction to the Cases covering how and why we developed this subject-focused module, before moving on to a live platform demonstration to share some hints and tips on finding interesting and useful content. The first 30-minutes will comprise of a presentation, followed by 15 minutes of questions from participants. The session is open to anyone to attend, so please do come along if you're curious to find out more!
